This notice explains how Port Orange Media LLC uses information to provide project work, accounts, quotes, and billing.
Port Orange Media LLC, a Florida single-member LLC, operates from Florida, United States and is responsible for information processed through Port Orange Media services. Port Orange Media LLC is a Florida limited liability company based in the United States. Our primary web-hosting infrastructure and certain data-processing systems are located in Switzerland through Infomaniak Network SA. Where applicable, processing occurring in Switzerland is subject to Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and other applicable Swiss data-protection requirements. The location of infrastructure does not make Port Orange Media a Swiss entity or exclude other laws that may apply. We do not represent that every provider, backup, administrative access path, or processing activity is located exclusively in Switzerland.
We collect information you provide or create through the service: name, email address, optional U.S. phone number, organization, website, project and cybersecurity quote details, support messages, account credentials in hashed form, and legal-consent records. Quote submissions may include systems or platforms, infrastructure overview, compliance concerns, timeline, budget, authorized scope, assessment timing, emergency contact, goals, and constraints. Do not submit passwords, API keys, private keys, credentials, exploit details, malware, or information you are not authorized to provide.
We may process session identifiers, verification and password-reset token metadata, authentication events, rate-limit records, request identifiers, IP-address hashes, user-agent hashes, audit records, browser security signals, and service logs. These records support authentication, fraud prevention, abuse response, troubleshooting, security monitoring, and legal compliance. Raw passwords, card numbers, and CVC values are not stored by Port Orange Media.
When billing is enabled, Stripe processes payment credentials, payment authentication, fraud signals, invoices, receipts, subscriptions, and provider-side payment events. Port Orange Media stores limited billing references such as Stripe customer or object identifiers, card brand, last four digits, expiration metadata, order status, invoice references, and audit information. We do not receive or store raw card numbers or CVC values.
We use information only to respond to inquiries, provide quotes, create and protect accounts, verify email, deliver services, process orders and subscriptions, issue receipts, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain security and audit records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use it for behavioral advertising in this release.
We use service providers only for defined operational purposes. Infomaniak provides application hosting, the MariaDB database, and transactional mailbox infrastructure. Stripe provides conditional payment and billing services. Google and Apple are optional sign-in providers and are unavailable until configured. Each provider receives only the information needed for the enabled service.
We do not sell personal information, rent contact lists, or share customer information for third-party advertising. We share information with a provider only when needed to operate a requested feature, with professional advisers when needed to provide or protect the service, or when required to comply with law, protect rights, investigate abuse, or resolve a dispute.
The current release uses essential cookies for secure sessions, account protection, request validation, and basic operation. It does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or social-media tracking scripts. Transactional messages may include account verification, password reset, security notices, quote updates, invoices, receipts, and service communications. These are not marketing subscriptions. We keep information only as long as it is needed for the specific service, account security, payment/accounting requirements, dispute handling, abuse prevention, or a legally required record. Verification and reset tokens are single-use and removed after use or expiry. Session data is removed when sessions expire or are revoked. Unneeded quote, support, and operational records are deleted or anonymized as soon as practical. Financial records and limited security records may be retained longer when required for accounting, fraud prevention, legal claims, or compliance. We do not retain raw passwords, card numbers, or CVC values.
We do not sell personal data, use targeted advertising, or use profiling to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Deletion requests may be submitted to hello@portorange.me; we may take reasonable steps to verify identity and authority before responding. We will explain any applicable limitation or retention requirement and provide an appeal path where required. Nothing in this notice is intended to restrict any privacy or data-protection right available under applicable law.
To the extent applicable to processing performed in Switzerland or otherwise subject to Swiss data-protection law, Port Orange Media LLC processes personal data in a manner designed to respect the privacy and data-protection principles reflected in Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and to comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Port Orange Media processes personal data lawfully, in good faith, proportionately, transparently, and only for specified and appropriate purposes; implements reasonable technical and organizational safeguards against unauthorized or unlawful processing, loss, alteration, disclosure, or access; limits retention to what is reasonably necessary for the applicable processing purpose or legal obligations; and reasonably supports applicable rights of data subjects concerning access, correction, deletion, and other protections provided by Swiss law.
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information processed, including access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege operations, rate limiting, provider tokenization, audit records, and incident procedures. No online service is risk-free. If a security incident requires notice, Port Orange Media will investigate, document the decision, notify affected people and authorities when required, and coordinate with relevant providers.
The service is not directed to children. Do not create an account or submit information unless you are at least 18 or otherwise legally able to enter the applicable agreement. If you submit information for an organization or another person, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
We may update this notice when the service, providers, or law changes. The current version is 2026-09-12, last updated September 12, 2026. Material changes will be presented through the site or account flow where appropriate.
